They started operations in Malaysia more than 50 years ago and has aggressive expansion plans within the next few years. In pursuit of their continued brand excellence, they now require the services of an experienced and high caliber Supply Chain Director for South Asia.In this role, you will be responsible for demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics and customer service processes for Malaysia and the region. You will set the vision, develop & roll out regional projects and continue to drive cost saving initiatives. Adding on to that, selection of distribution and logistics provider and contract review are also part of the portfolio for the role.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess sound in-house supply chain experience and the following :A reputable degree. An MBA qualification would be an advantageSix-Sigma, Operational Excellence and/or Lean manufacturing trained and certified candidates are encouraged to applyMinimum of 8 years demand and logistics experience, of which 5 should be in leadership roleMust currently be overseeing demand and logistics of few countriesAbility to consider broad ranging factors to enhance the understanding of value chainFlexibility and ability to innovate and develop new processes and working stylesProject management skills with prioritization and management techniques
